Manufacturer in Focus: Jacaranda Carpets
Our Manufacturer in Focus series continues with Jacaranda Carpets, a brand known for its handcrafted, sustainable flooring. At Michael John Flooring, we value quality and craftsmanship, and Jacaranda fits the bill perfectly with its unique designs and ethical approach.
The Jacaranda Story
Jacaranda was founded to create beautiful carpets that are also responsibly made. Their focus on handcrafting means every piece has a distinctive texture and depth, something mass production simply can’t replicate. From soft, velvety Tencel™ carpets to rugged handwoven wool, each product is designed with both luxury and durability in mind.
A Sustainable Approach
Sustainability is at the core of what Jacaranda does. They prioritise natural fibres such as wool, Tencel™, and undyed wool, helping to reduce environmental impact while maintaining exceptional quality.
One of their key materials, Tencel™, is made from wood pulp, offering a silk-like finish while being fully biodegradable—an eco-friendly alternative to synthetic fibres.
Jacaranda also champions ethical production, working with skilled artisans and ensuring fair trade practices. Their factories adhere to strict environmental and ethical standards, meaning you can feel good about your purchase.
Flooring for Every Home
Whether you’re after a plush deep-pile carpet for a cosy bedroom or a durable wool loop pile for a busy family home, Jacaranda has options for all styles and needs.
Their range includes:
- Tencel™ carpets – Soft and shimmering
- Handwoven wool – Rich texture with natural warmth
- Undyed wool – Organic and beautifully neutral
- Bespoke rugs – Made-to-measure for a personalised touch
Beyond looking great, these carpets are designed to last, making them a great investment.
