I Can't Believe It's Not Wood
Wood flooring has been a popular flooring option for centuries now. It looks good, it’s strong, it’s durable. However, while it is an excellent flooring option, there are alternatives which have many of the benefits of wood and none of the disadvantages. We encourage our customers to keep an open mind and to consider our full array of flooring solutions.
At Michael John, we stock a huge range of wood-style LVT flooring. Here’s why you might consider using LVT over wood:
Price - Wooden flooring can be very expensive. Our LVT range is considerably cheaper.
Cleaning - Over the years, a wooden floor can lose its shine from repeated cleaning. This can be rectified with wax, but this can be time consuming and expensive. LVT flooring never loses its shine, and is easy to keep clean.
Safety - Wooden floors can become very slippery. This can be a real hazard if you have children who are in the habit of running around in their socks. This isn’t a problem with LVT flooring.
Versatility - Wooden floors can be a bad idea if your home has moisture and humidity problems, and do not perform well in bathroom environments. LVT flooring is resistant to any and all moisture damage.
Look - Even we sometimes struggle to tell the difference between our LVT and wood ranges. Don’t just take our word for it, head over to our ‘I Can’t Believe It’s Not Wood’ Pinterest board to see them for yourself. There are also more examples in LVT Gallery here.
